So I though I had a test in my India class on Nov 8. Not bad, I mean I have a week and a half to study, right? But I have an appointment at the Lasik place for a diagnosis on whether I can have it or not--and I made it for Nov 8, in the morning, same time as my class. D'oh! I was procrastinating on calling to reschedule (I'll have to miss class any day I do it), when I checked my email, whereupon the Prof has rescheduled the *exam* for the following Thursday, Nov 10. Yay! Not missing India exam and no rescheduling eye exam.
Mostly as future reference for myself, in regards to medical stuff, my thyroid count was perfectly average. So that's not a factor in my weight, not even hypothetically. For anyone who's scratching their head, I had a physical a little more than a year ago, where the doctor said my extra weight might be influenced by an under-performing thyroid. Mom said there is family history of problems with thyroids... so it was a possibility. I just didn't want to have the test done. One way, my weight is entirely my problem; other way, my body is betraying me. It's the first case though. I mean, it's not great, it doesn't negate the fact I need to get into better shape and lose the weight, but it's till something *I* can *control*.
Also more medical stuff, because they did some other general tests on my blood: everything is normal, as in right smack in the middle of the number range for everything they check. White cell count, platelets, whatever. Other than my weight and still having a case of acne, I'm disgustingly healthy.
